She married him because he could move her career to a different level. When they got together he immediately got her and her younger sisters unbanned from the Met gala and she finally secured a cover of Vogue. Kanye helped her access a level of respectability with other celebs that she didn’t have before. Also she knew him for years before they got married. They knew each other since at least the early 2000s and they were romantically involved while he was with Amber (so like a year before they started dating after her divorce). There’s no way she spent all that time with him and was still blindsided by how nuts he is. She made a calculated bet that the benefits he came with would outweigh all that. Also her mom only cares about money and fame. I mean she supported her teen dating Tyga, a man in his 30s. [/quote]
