Last time I heard it was less than 20%. Thought I heard the other day they have less than 1/2 that for the new regime. So 90% vote against surveillance testing. I think that it's overwhelming APS do not want this testing.
If Duran is smart, he'll allow winter sports to continue. Otherwise he won't have any test data for HS students in Arlington, since nobody is willing to give it to him.
Or, if he’s smart, he will resume sports in another week or two after the peak.
2 weeks to slow spread! Heard that one before. Meanwhile, gyms will be open, restaurants will be open, bars will be open. Arlington community centers will continue to be open, where much higher risk adults can play sports maskless. These people who want to put all the burden on our children are sick!
It's a sick empty gesture. These people think they can somehow get the positivity rates in the schools lower than the overall community. They can't. But they'll punish our kids as much as possible in the process, while high risk slobs fill restaurants, bars, and ERs.
Why do you think omicron is going to persist?
I don't. It will burn out quickly, but the Durans of the world will make that process as painful as possible, to make it look like he "doing something".
