More stereotyping - which is what racists do. I’m Republican, as is my brother and mother, and as are all my friends. The LEAST educated among us has a B.A.; most have grad degrees. All are vaxxed. None would be caught dead with a Confederate flag. YOU JUST TRY TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL MORALLY SUPERIOR by putting all people who don’t vote Democrat in a deplorable basket. I actually blame Hillary for what has happened here: she gave permission to show total disdain and contempt for people who aren’t like yourselves. Ironically, this is what liberals accuse conservatives of doing. The lack of self-awareness among people who consider themselves so educated and above everyone else is unreal. And P.S. Being caught in a Trump Train is a lot less scary than being caught in the middle of a BLM riot.
I was in a lot of BLM "riots" in DC in the summer of 2020, and they were not scary at all, aside from the presence of huge numbers of unidentified employees of unidentified government agencies in riot gear.
There was quite a difference between some of the peaceful protests and some of the riots, looting, and other crude and disruptive behavior on display from BLM/Antifa activists this past year. The tendency of R’s is to lump it all in the latter category; the tendency of D’s is to lump it all in the former. They cancel each other out, leaving those of us in the middle to decide whether we want a further drift to the extreme left at the state level or believe the election of any R at the state level paves the way for a Trump dictatorship. It’s a roll of the dice either way, but having watched crazies like the Democrats on our local school board I’ll be voting for Youngkin.
