It is simply disgusting that this school system sends kids to schools in trailers but still finds the money to buy trashy pornography to stock library shelves under the guise of being LGBTQ-friendly. I want this entire School Board replaced with normal, sane parents.
I’m sure it would shock you to actually be exposed to some rational facts, but the total purchase price of every copy of the graphic novel and question is probably under $50. Every single copy in the entire county. So, I find it hard to believe that the purchase of these particular books which clearly seemed to suit the deed of particular students served by the librarians who added them to their collection, would make even the slightest bit of difference regarding priorities for school construction. To my knowledge, It is not possible to construct a Classroom for under $50. To my knowledge also, the school board does not make individual purchasing decisions for individual books for individual libraries. You have been so thoroughly duped into believing that this is a serious issue that you were not even beginning to think in a rational manner. It is an entirely emotional reaction, which is exactly what the political operatives intended when they decided to raise this as a manufactured issue.
