Kids should leave dogs bowl alone. However, for the record, a dog that lives in a household, (especially one with children), should be able to tolerate a child walking near it while it is eating, at least long enough for a parent to pick up the child. These are not dogs giving a warning bite or snapping at a kid, this thread it talking about dogs mauling children and adults to death. [/quote]
