Let's be honest, the issue was not union control of the school board. The core issue was that the city was rotten with incompetence, cronyism and patronage. Anyone who was good who worked in DC government or DCPS quit in frustration. Bowser is bringing these traditions back. She is reshaping the city in ways that when people look back on this era it will not be positive. [/quote]
