I’m 36 and happily married but man, I do not understand wanting to find a new serious thing. If we got divorced it’d be hookups and sleeping TF alone for me.
I’m 33 year old woman, also happily married with kids, and I feel somewhat similarly. I’d date and hook up and even have long term semi casual relationships if that happened organically but I would absolutely be living alone. Even in the best relationships you have to make compromises, enjoy your freedom!
How do you know what you would want? You haven’t been in that situation. If you think being single sounds so great, why don’t you get divorced and see what it feels like?
I am in my early 40th, soon to be divorced. I am alone (no sex life due to husband's affair) for 2 years. I only need a vibrator, but not a new partner. My freedom, career and near college age child are my priorities. I might want to partner up with someone closer to 50 when my life is more settled after the divorce and my son is fully independent
