I can't stand it and some recipe once called for Chinese five spice, I went and obediently bough and added to my supposed to be Chinese authentic dish.. This was my greatest culinary disaster to the date. This spice mix is unbearable.. and yes anything fennel.. star anise.. those are kitchen flavor assassination's herbs! [b]Anything licorice-y.
