[/quote] The officer made a stupid, tragic mistake and I don't think that's the racial part. The racial part is the BS pretext stop for "expired plates" that led to a possible air freshener violation. The racial part is that the situation escalated so quickly and her instinct was to subdue/tase the dangerous angry Black man. It does seem that Wright's actions contributed to this with the resisting, but I doubt that a white person would have been stopped in the first place or handled like Wright was for similar resistance.
