Low SES parents may have suffered major losses, and this can either 1) make them low SES in the first place, or 2) keep them low SES. There are a lot of repercussions to being low SES, particularly to kids. The solution is not "everyone should also suffer and become low SES". The solution is to help people not become low SES in the first place, or help people get out of being low SES. [/quote]
