[/quote] I do not know where you live, but in Virginia that is not your property but you are required to maintain it (cut the grass). Or leave it as first/weeds. Once a sidewalk is in the county or state paid for it and the curb/drainage. Maybe you paid for a private sidewalk, not sure. I own dogs and have one the best maintained lawns in my neighborhood; because I enjoy the hobby and esthetics. I would be the first to have my dogs piss on that strip in front of your house if you lived in my neighborhood.[/quote]
