[/quote] It is hardly a novel concept either- most countries don't do a 9-12 week break, we are not the only ones but its also not the majority. And the idea that "this is something for working parents", as if that's a negative or shouldn't be forced on the "rest of the population"...consider that its only about 18% of households that have a stay at home parent. Working parents are the vast majority and the drivers of policy should reflect that.[/quote]
