Yeah, most Desis, especially the ones here in the US have deep internalized hatred. She was Miss World, is an actress, a very successful one at that, and coming to the US for her seemed like taking on something very different. No other popular Indian has made it this big in Hollywood. Not saying she is A-lister here, but she is hustling and doing well at it. Why should I dislike her for it? I am not an ardent PC fan, but I don't hate on her either. She is still making movies in Bollywood and making movies in desi regional cinema as well. She talks about being Indian often and isn't just ignoring that side of her like a lot of Indian actors here do or have to do. She promoted Sky is Pink on talk shows here and choose a scene in Hindi to showcase there. I have never seen any scene in Hindi on Fallon. So yeah, I am rooting for her to succeed. Why shouldn't I?

Also, your comment reeks of misogyny. You are judging her for the 'faults' in her looks as well as the 'help' she got to correct some stuff.  :roll:
