That Arlington ECNL team you are taking about whoops  all current Ecnl teams with similar scores or even more. This SYC team was missing players for that state cup game due to possible Covid exposure. Also, this particular SYC team beat 4 Ecnl (in MD and VA) teams this fall season in scrimmages.

Agreed.  All this is pretty silly.  Yes, oh Arlington U15 team, you are wonderful, so if you are looking to play only peers, clearly you cannot play any matches.  Enough already.  SYC top to bottom is sufficiently competitive with everybody who plays in these leagues to play in either league, which is all the PP said.  Can we all just take a breath and see how things look by the end of next year (2021-22) before making these absurd pronouncements about who belongs where and why?  Let's see how these clubs and teams shuffle and reshuffle when there is an environment where we are more likely to see player mobility in light of which leagues they have decided to join and where kids feel like they are likely to develop best.[/quote]
