I thought she was very pretty in that unusual model looking way. Like Gisselle Bundchen. Not really pretty in a conventional way but takes amazing photos.

I also don’t think her nose is ugly. Small, Eurocentric style noses are not the only ones that are beautiful in India. Even Aishwarya Rai has a slight hook to her nose. Western beauty standards are not the only acceptable look.

Fair skin is different from facial features.

Fair skin obsession is a by product of 1000 years of invasions by invaders that valued fair skin. They weren’t treating people differently based on noses, 1000 years. Let that sink in. It’s going to take a lot of time to reverse that generational mindset. But it is happening. It’s only been a free country for 70 years and already the younger generations are making big strides towards trying to change the mindset. We’ve all got baggage to overcome.

But noses of all shapes and sizes are beautiful in India.
