You must not live upcounty because Cabin Branch is North Clarksburg/border of Frederick County and Neelsville is closer to Gaithersburg border than to Germantown.
No, they're not. Seriously. Look at a map. That's just plain not true.
+1. Cabin Branch is over 5 miles from the Frederick County border, and Neelsville MS is right off Germantown Road.
More nonsense from pro-busing campaign. * Neelsville is 2.5 miles from Watkins Mill HS and 6 miles from Cabin Branch. * Yes it's 5 miles from the county line but there is literally nothing between Cabin Branch and Frederick County line Travelling 6 miles in an urban area is a lot worse than in a country area. The superintendent has joked that he's not moving Churchill students to Wheaton but that's the same difference in terms of mileage.
Neelsville MS is in Germantown. Specifically, the northern end of Germantown. If you believe that Germantown is hell on earth, what did you move to Cabin Branch for? Germantown is literally adjacent to Cabin Branch, as well as the place you need to go to run most errands because Clarksburg is almost entirely residential.
And the other three closer middle schools weren't a better option because the BOE wanted to conduct a social engineering experiment.
All you're saying there is, "I think that the BoE should have rezoned other people for Neelsville MS, not me."
