It was under consideration last year when they were deciding where to put Northwood in a holding school for 2 years during construction of its building. Ultimately, they decided acquiring new property was cost-prohibitive and they'd use the new Woodward building for that instead, delaying Woodward's reopening by 2 years.[/quote]

They were talking about that property on NPR yesterday. I do not remember who was talking but they said there are restrictions on how that property could be used.  The county was not allowed to purchase it due to those restrictions.  They were talking about low income housing in the discussion not schools but probably the same issue.[/quote]
