It gives people status and they feel like they're part of an elite community. DH has owned various pieces of cardio equipment and never used them. Got a Peleton and uses it every day. No difference between it and the three other bikes he's owned, it's just because it's a Peleton. But that's 99% of marketing. [/quote] It is more comparable to spin classes than it is another piece of exercise equipment. If you like Soul Cycle - it is like that but from the convenience of your home when you want. Top notch instructors, etc. Not everyone's cup of tea, but no need to rag on it or the people that use it. [/quote]
