And I've said it before. Democrats surely didn't like his choice. HOWEVER, they didn't like Gorsich either. And that was a stolen seat. And his nom sailed through the Senate.

Republicans put forth Kavanaugh, and stuck with them, just to show that they could. It was a pure power play by the entitled, white, male establishment at the expense of a woman (and women everywhere) who had credible allegations that she told people about LONG before he was appointed to SCOTUS. Republicans could have dropped him, found some equally  right wing demagogue without his history, and he would have passed no problem.

So, no not a witch hunt. Republicans just have zero shame or integrity. But a big tolerance for sexual assault and a display of lack of judicial temperment. Oh, and guys who like beer.[/quote]
