Deferments are given more than you think. It does not absolve her of military duty--it only delays it. And, I posted this before, training does not always start immediately after graduation. It can even be a wait of over a year--at the Army's convenience. It all depends on the number of grads and when training is available. That training classes are limited by size. The Army may have been delighted to give her a deferment. And, FWIW, it will be a feather in the JAG corps to have a former SC clerk. Use your common sense.[/quote] +1[/quote]
