It would make us all of us feel better to know that she's sorry. Honestly though, I wouldn't behave the way she did because a) I would be terrified of being caught and 2) I would put my DC over his head at a college he's not equipped for and 3) following the rules of ethics would stop me--but because they are the rules. I'm pretty willing, as are many parents, to play within the rules to get every advantage for my child possible, even if it's grossly unfair or hypocritical. As it is, she now doing damage control and protecting her family from the fallout of her actions as best she can (and probably on the advice of a PR firm). I won't fault her for that.
It wouldn’t make me feel better bc I understand how rich and entitled ppl work. You don’t have enough money to do whatever you want. That’s the difference.
I just said I wouldn't do the same and gave three reasons why...but mainly, I play by the rules and I don't want my DC living independently at a college that he isn't suited for. I hear these schools handhold...but maybe not. My biggest worry isn't DC getting into college, he'll get in somewhere without bribes or donations or cheating, it's what happens when he's there.
