Don't fall for the % BS. Using this dummie's own statement means 12 million signed up and 80% kept their doctor. This means 2.4 million people didn't. I'd say this is significant but the real stat has been muddled. Obama said you wouldn't lose your plan, but well over 1 million did almost immediately and then even more were dropped on top of that. Any site, liberal or conservative, will confirm these stats. The ACA has been a failure. Scrap it or continue to radically change it because it didn't work.
It's a fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans got to keep their existing doctors. Most kept their existing plans, too. It was mainly just plans on the farthest extremes that were affected, either sham plans that were cheap but didn't actually cover anything and didn't even meet basic standards, or gold plated Cadillac plans that only the top 1% had (and no tears of sympathy, these are folks who, unlike most Americans, could afford healthcare no matter what. 15-20% turnover in any given year is pretty normal in the insurance industry. Anyone expecting 100% of people to keep their doctors is a moron. Also, what about all of the people who DIDN'T HAVE doctors but DID GET doctors thanks to ObamaCare? Sorry but whining about the numbers is pretty damn disingenuous.
