I'm not the PP, but yes, that's right. They need to ditch their "mascots" and I AM tons of fun, TYSM! I don't hate those people, but no, I don't like it, and it puts at least a bit of distance between me and them. [/quote]

I guess you can root for whatever team you want in your own home, but if you don’t understand why the teams I named have racist mascots that are hurtful to some people, then I think it’s fair we’re not friends. If I was black and you constantly made subtle comments that stereotyped black people and black culture and reinforced negative tropes, I would not stay friends with you. [/quote]
