Yes, gang activity is an increasing problem in the county. The police are now getting extra funding to focus on it. But the problem I see on DCUM is the exaggeration of what this gang crime means to the general population, and the inevitable wholesale smear of entire regions of the county as crime-infested hell holes. I live in one of the areas people on DCUM seem to think is a barrio war zone, when in fact it is a great place full of my friends. I commend the police for taking this seriously, and I give credit here to Einstein for being alert to the threat and catching the trespasser before it became a problem. [/quote]
