At Columbia, you will be surrounded by top students from all over the US and the world. At UVa, by definition, you will be surrounded by a majority of VA students - some high stats, some less so. My ds, who is at another top 10 ivy, says that he is surrounded by over achievers. I thinks he gets as much benefit from them as he does from the academics and overall environment at his ivy.[/quote]
