You think of yourself as traditional, but in reality, you're very go-with-the-flow, which many parents in your PTA program appreciate.  Your kids go by shortened versions of their names (Matt, Kate, Liz) and are normal kids. Jacob and Rebecca grew up in one of the older homes in McLean and lived in the same house all their lives.  Their parents are from the Northern Virginia area and went to Oakton and then JMU, where they met.  Mom volunteers a lot and has an interior design business on the side; Dad is a lawyer.  Jacob wants to play guitar and Rebecca is happy dancing to the tunes he plays.  He eventually drops guitar for BMX biking around age 8.  Rebecca continues to read a lot, especially about animals, and wants to be a vet but ultimately decides to work for a non-profit and help others in war-torn countries.  Jake, meanwhile, has no idea what he wants to go and goes to Mason, but then has a breakthrough, transfers to UVA and works to become a surgeon.[/quote]
