Adam’s is corrupt and did a horrible this last term.  He got nothing done, the city hasn’t looked this bad since the early 90s.   The only reason he’s not a felon is he made a deal with the devil (trump) and sold out the city in exchange for the charges on him being dropped.   How is he even relevant.  [/quote]

He took money from Turkish money launderers who probably have funded actual terror groups for all we know and he’s friends with Kanye west- a proud anti semite. He spends his days partying in nightclubs and drinking, while Cuomo spends his time trying to get interns to touch his crotch. They both  are not going to be staying up at night worrying about New Yorkers or how to make their lives better. I think Mamdani  has the interest to help New Yorkers [/quote]

Some info that was on the DOJ report -

“In 2018, a Turkish entrepreneur, who helped arrange one of Adams’s early trips to Turkey, texted with Adam’s liaison about giving Adams an illegal donation through a straw donor with US citizenship, according to the indictment: “We’ll make the donation through an American citizen in the US … A Turk … I’ll give cash to him in Turkey … Or I’ll send it to an American … He will make a donation to you.”

Later that year, Adams met with a wealthy Turkish businessman who owned a Turkish university. Though he was a foreign national, Adams texted his liaison that the businessman was “ready to help” and didn’t “want his willing to help be waisted [sic]”.” Hehe on the waisted.

In return Turkey government pushed Adams to open a high rise embassy across from the UN. The building is called Turkevi Center.   Adams was indicted on a bribery charge for allegedly pressuring city fire department officials to open it in time for Erdogam’s visit.    The opening was ultimately approved, despite significant concerns in the department over outstanding fire safety issues.

There was enough there to indict him but Trump stepped in with a bribe of his own and Adams went with it.   I can’t imagine all he got away with.
