Some do and some don't but what they really want is low crime. NG can't even arrest so really the people who understand the laws know that the NG is not going to decrease crime going forward.

The NG gives MPD the breathing room to do the actual policing.  It’s not a long term solution, but it could be a 3.5 year solution.  And for a lot of us who have been victims or know victims of DC crime we are grateful.  [/quote]
