The high temperature for Mariposa on 8/15 was 97 degrees (per Weather.com) so they would have seen something close to this if they had checked the forecast on the weather app that morning. Clearly the temperature was higher in the canyon but due to its remote location there would not have been a weather app forecast for that exact location.[/quote]
