I didn’t get it at first and was convinced that Taylor and Travis would break up quickly. But now I get it. Travis is the anti-Matty, and frankly, Joe, for that matter.

Joe was intensely private, depressed, wouldn't marry her and called her out on her drama. (Just listen to the lyrics of her various songs). She has admitted that she is a handful and “I wouldn’t marry me either.”

Matty is a drug addict, immature and dramatic (much like Taylor), and ghosted her after making her believe that she was “The One.”  The one he has loved forever and talked about marriage right away.

Travis is the opposite of both of her past loves who hurt her very deeply. He doesn’t mind being seen in public with her (in fact he seems to like it). While Joe would run into restaurants and hide, Travis is very protective of her when he is with her. Matty and Joe look wimpy and uncaring in comparison.

And Travis is simple. He isn’t a “tortured poet.” He doesn’t play games, he just is who he is. I don’t think he minds her drama. He probably lets it roll right off him. He is also very close to his family, just like Taylor. I’m sure they talk about marriage and kids and he is up for it. Travis was exactly what she needed.[/quote]

Oh please. He is a hairy, overweight Midwestern jock who barely finished high-school. She would drop him in a hot second if Matty Healy were to return her calls. And I don’t even like Matty, but let’s be real here. An artist who has a way with words could not be intellectually satisfied with a Travis in the long run.

lol. We have ears, dear. He’s very clearly ~ 85 to 90 IQ. His jock older brother is not exactly a rocket scientist and runs circles around Travis intellectually.[/quote]
