Apart from the obvious - Beauvoir - which schools regularly send boys to St. Albans?
NPS, St. Pat's, Norwood and WES always have grads that go on to St. Albans.
I hope St. Pat's is selective in whom they are recommending to STA. I was sitting next to a few moms from there having coffee and I overheard one loudly say "I don't mind minorities as long as they can pay their own way." It was odd coming from her as she had an accent and appeared to be a minority herself. Not the first time I have heard these sort of elitist comments. STA is an amazing and diverse school and does not need families that look down on minorities.

I found out this weekend that a family from St. Pat's that is notorious for being exclusive and having strong opinions openly about minorities etc was accepted to STA. This is very shocking and disappointing to say the least. I am surprised that St. Pat's recommended this family, as the mom is known for making very derogatory statements about minorities being on financial aid and other subjects that most find offensive. Not sure how this happened but STA is a very inclusive community.
WASPs being WASPs - shocking. Absolutely shocking.
No this attitude isn't shocking. As someone with a lower SES, my family has experienced this within the STA community, non verbally, but with patronizing smiles. STA (admin) really can't control tasteless behavior when it comes to parent-sponsored events.
