Iran attacked first.  And twice.  Israel is well within its rights to hit back at Iran.

Only Hezbollah terrorists were injured, but yes - you are correct:

This. I can also assure you that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a brutal regime that funds terrorism and that the actual good people of Iran do not support their actions. The proper term is Islamic Republic of Iran which is very different from the Iran that was before the revolution.[/quote]

This is from the comments in the NYT opinion piece someone else linked to above.  Kind of puts things in perspective.
