I have a feeling republicans are just going to f@#$ around and find out on this one. Just wait till all those unwanted babies and rape babies and incest babies and disabled babies and babies with almost no prenatal care turn 18. Either massive crime wave, political revolution or both.
They will just blame the democrats for being “soft on crime.”
Disabled babies are future criminals?
Gotta say, I find the whole think of the poor, disabled babies trope pretty disgusting. You don't know what other people are dealing with as they make their decisions and this is yet another instance where folks like to be righteous without having to take on any of the hardship. A good friend of mine terminated a wanted pregnancy when she found out the fetus had a severe congenital birth defect that would cause lifelong physical and mental disabilities and challenges. The kicker is that she already has a child with that birth defect (it's not considered genetic) and chose to have him, and went to great lengths to do everything she could to increase his chances for success. But after watching him live with his disabilities, endure yearly, lengthy surgeries, know all the challenges that will face him his entire life, not to mention the effect on his older brother who is not disabled, they couldn't continue the pregnancy. I guess people will still judge, but I trust that women know what's right for them and their families.
