I think the point the PP was just alluding to the toxic nature of the coach and not a comment on girls as teammates. New theory:  the coach intentionally trauma bonds them to create a tight knit team and it has proven to lead to success. [/quote]

The girls are generally pretty respectful of one another and good teammates. The toxic culture is more about the coaching, mental and emotional abuse, mind games, inconsistent treatment of players etc etc. there were 200 posts about this that got deleted. [/quote]

This is accurate. Please consider this if your daughter has applied to SR. The emotional abuse becomes all consuming and the school turns a blind eye. Visi or Potomac would be better choices if your daughter needs high level lax - HC or Holton for more playing time opportunities but still good academics. [/quote]
