the topic is dead because no one is staying with FCV or leaving FCV because of the fields.  Most if not all GA and ECNL tryouts have been completed, offers have went out and have been accepted or rejected, teams are pretty much locked in for next season baring maybe 1 or 2 players per team with summer moves, etc.

If you're still considering FCV, I'm pretty sure whatever fields they'll practice on next season will have zero impact on your decision.

I can speak as someone whose daughter accepted a spot on FCV GA1 team and who is happy to be there.  We actually liked the new FCV coach and aren’t that worried about the practice field situation.  People who seem to be throwing shade at FCV appear to be headed elsewhere, so it isn’t clear to me why those who are already gone spend so much time focusing on the past.  I for one am not worried about possibly being overmatched against other clubs, because if you’re not playing against better players you’re playing on the wrong pitch.  See ya next Fall![/quote]
