And the extra training is just an extension of his practices, honestly.  It's called "small group" training but it can be 10+ kids in a session and he charges different amounts to different kids lol.  It's honestly insane. [/quote]

Ever think he was trying to improve the team without the distraction of players who weren’t as capable or serious? Charging for the sessions is necessary otherwise he’d have to include everyone, defeating the purpose, and charging different amounts makes it possible for less affluent kids to join. He's being paid what? 15,000 or so from GFR to coach each team? He's not working for free. Pay to play private lessons on the side are not allowed by most clubs for a reason. Its hugely divisive.[/quote]

He's being paid more than that per team.  His salary is public and it was over $100k last year, making more than the TD and almost as much as the ED!

I believe she said a few of them will follow him.
But that makes no sense either. Is there space on the existing roster at VRSC to add multiple new players? The VRSC top teams usually have full rosters already. 
If I was a VRSC parent, I would want more information from the club on what is going on with an abrupt coach change mid season. [/quote]

The first teams at VRSC all carry the max number of players per roster. THat's how they fill the teams. Then they fill the second team. and so one. There's not room for extra players. [/quote]
