More importantly we got a timeline now.

December 1 - 8: Parent Zoom Information Sessions

Morning and evening virtual information sessions led by the planning principal, the Instructional Services Department (ISD), and the Chief of Schools staff.

December 8 - 19: Student Information Sessions

Optional information sessions for all rising 9th and 10th grade students in the five western pyramids: Centreville, Chantilly, Oakton, South Lakes, and Westfield. Sessions will take place during existing intervention/return periods.

[b]December 19: Formal Opt-In and Enrollment Analysis Begins[/b]

Families of rising 9th and 10th grade students in the western pyramids will receive a formal opt-in form. Using this form, families will be able to say whether or not they would like their child(ren) to attend the new high school for the 2026-27 school year.

FCPS staff will review families’ opt-in forms which will help determine our next steps. This analysis will specifically inform how close we are to meeting our goal of enrolling 1,000 students. [/quote]
