NCAA is in trouble now that they have to pay players. This is why US Soccer is putting together a plan. NCAA will gladly drop a non revenue sports like Soccer if it allows them to focus on Football and Basketball. The only reason to keep Soccer is the number of female players it provides for Title 9.[/quote]

NCAA pays no players.  At all.  The schools do.  The schools will not be interested in anything that moves programs out of their control.  They would rather close the programs.  It is a brand issue.  [/quote]
