Well the fact is Iran/IRGC has demonstrated control over Hormuz whereas before it was theoretical.  This is despite the efforts of the world's greatest military. They've also demonstrated that they can impact global trade. The IRGC now has real global power and it's up to them on how that power is used.

It's not inconceivable that the IRGC wields that power to bring some pain to its adversaries including Trump. How does it not logically follow from current events?  To borrow a Kegsbreath terminology - Trump FAFO'd.

Trump, MAGA Republicans, and Israel gave the IRGC this gift. For all the doomsday bleating about the JCPOA, the IRGC is now in a much stronger position domestically and globally. [/quote]
