Maybe, just maybe, the people who want to move to KAA want to move there so they can go to a school near where they live.

Look at the map:  those schools being considered for KAA are separated from Westfield by Dulles Airport, industrial facilties, and commercial facilities.  They are not part of the Westfield community. They are not connected in any way to other Westfield students.

As for the numbers, it is 2 and a half schools that would be removed from Westfield.  It is likely that the FARMS numbers at Westfield will improve as a result:
Coates: 50% FARMS
McNair: 30% FARMS
Floris: only 14%, but it is likely that much of that 14% is included in the Westfield boundary rather than the South Lakes boundary.  Much of Floris goes to South Lakes.  My guess is that of the Floris kids going to Westfield that the number is 20%.[/quote]
