Meh.  Their first priority will be figuring out who goes to KAA.  It happens that, given its location and the logical feeders, KAA will be reasonably balanced from the inception.  It should include low-FARMS schools like Floris and Oak Hill and most of a high-FARMS school like Coates.  Add moderately high FARMS McNair and low FARMS Crossfield or Fox Mill and they have a solid school immune from attacks of being a fancy school for only rich kids.

Then they have to deal with the ripple effects of populating KAA.  They can pull a single feeder out of Chantilly, South Lakes and/or Oakton, and not worry about it, in terms of either total enrollment or demographics.  On the other hand, they can't pull three feeders out of Westfield and not move some other kids to Westfield.  Westfield already has about an average FARMS rate, so they aren't going to sweat if moving a feeder than has a higher FARMS rate than Westfield's current rate pushes the overall FARMS rate at Westfield up slightly.  It will still be lower than Herndon and at least five high schools further east.

Again, if you have a problem with this, tell Dixit and Anderson the KAA purchase is a bad idea.  Otherwise you're just barking up a tree. [/quote]
