It is one thing to lie or "misremember" something from decades ago.
It is entirely another to fabricate things that didn't happen during the Trump administration or to deny a policy position that has been clearly articulated on your own website or on video/audio.

They really are not the same. And, we should be expecting more from elected leaders. Given Vance/Trump a pass or equating them with the "gotcha" on Walz is not serving our democracy.[/quote]
