The price of produce is going up right now, likely partially due to the difficulty of having a permanent underclass to exploit.

No more exploiting underclasses for cheap labor and cheap goods.

Join the local gardening club, get on youtube and learn to grow at least some of your own produce in the backyard or in pots on your deck. Buy from your local farmers market. Take your neighbor's unwanted zucchini off his hands. Or just pay up at the grocery store. You may have to drop the soda, energy drinks and buy less wine DCUM, but somehow you will make it through.

The nation (and the cotton industry) survived the disruption caused by liberating slaves and we will survive a disruption caused by food growing and production ceasing to utilize the people you want to work long hours for less pay and fewer rights.

Keep dreaming if that’s what you need. Look at what is happening in Texas… nothing is ticking on this regime except grift, rapidly increasing national debt, fleecing of democracy. No one, literally not one person has stood up to Trump- he owns all three branches of government plus the media but sure… go ahead and think there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.[/quote]
