Of course “exmissions” is important to NCRC parents. Read any thread in this board about choosing a preschool program and the topic is top of mind. That Carroll worked it at Beauvoir was a prime reason to hire him at NCRC. Parents want that next rung on the ladder. To say this isn’t so is being, at best, disingenuous. But that is absolutely no reason to think people would overlook any indicators of the kind of behavior he is accused of.
Correct first paragraph. Second paragraph is sheer naivety. Elites overlook criminal activity among their own all the time. Just look at our WH today.
You are simply stupid if you think individual parents would put their own children at this sort of risk. By being stupid, over and over, you just cause people to ignore you and think everything you say is stupid.
I think we all know who the stupid one is … Nobody is saying that the board members walked in on kids getting assaulted and ignored it. (Although that did happen in some horrible cases like Penn State and Sandusky.) We’re talking about conflicts of interest and school culture that lends itself to concerns not being aired in the first place; along with lack of safeguarding policies that are enforced against everyone.
Insane that you used the Penn state thing but ok, let’s use that example. No parent walked in on Sandusky abusing their own child so what we’re saying is that people on the board with children at the school, aren’t covering up for someone that can hurt their very own kid.
