He asked me why I was always teasing him with my little responses and looks. I replied that I wasn't teasing,
that I thought he was a nice guy and that I was enjoying talking to him. I was shocked he flat out asked me, but it seemed like he wanted me to say I was into him without him wanting to admit he was into me. [b]Does that make sense?[/b] He did tell me he thought I was hot, but I'm not sure if I believe

YES, absolutely makes sense.

And given that he mentioned the other women on his route as he did I surmised that he loves the ego boost and has learned how to get it.

Was he sincere with you? It's possible. If he isn't on your route now did he come by on purpose knowing he couldn't see you on a routine basis to see if you were interested? JIC you would make the next move and give up your personal info, telephone #, address and suggest a get together? It's possible.

But, here's the deal. He does know where to find you so if he is SINCERELY interested in you he will likely show up at some point.[/quote]

Op here. Thank you for your reply. It is so very strange that he has been gone all week, right after we had our first actual talk. My coworker today told me it was more like an hour from my absence on IM during that time.
He never mentioned taking a week long vacation and we talked about Labor Day plans. He was hitting on my pretty hard at one point but it seem more like a game versus actual interest. 
It was fun and I do think it upped my game a little so I'm not sorry!
