Not surprising NCS open house yesterday felt like the Republican National Convention.  Felt very unwelcomed there as a colored folk.  I spoke to other colored folk and same feeling.  Definitely not GDS or Sidwell.  Ugh.  Not applying there.  Even DD said it feels like a meeting of Donald Trump supporters.  [/quote]

We have children at the Cathedral schools and I can tell you that they are all very diverse. Just because there appeared to be a certain type at the open house does not mean they will all apply and more importantly they will not all be admitted, because all of the cathedral schools do a great job of creating diverse classes. The best way to really decide is apply and if you are admitted, attend the reception for admitted families (some have not decided yet that they are attending) but it will give you a better sense of the class.
