Not surprising NCS open house yesterday felt like the Republican National Convention.  Felt very unwelcomed there as a colored folk.  I spoke to other colored folk and same feeling.  Definitely not GDS or Sidwell.  Ugh.  Not applying there.  Even DD said it feels like a meeting of Donald Trump supporters.  [/quote]

How odd as the St Albans info session we went to in Sept was incredibly diverse in race, ethnicity, religion (I know this because people asked questions at the chapel discussion) and ideologically (again, based on the q&a).

I hate the judgement based on skin color. This goes both ways PP. I guarantee if you didn't walk in there and immediately assume the room were a bunch of right wing racists, you may have actually made a connection or two.
