[/quote] But those of us who have studied the news about CC and who have then done some fact checking have found that most of the news is full of the same red herrings and nonsense that the anti-CC arguments here are full of - and worse. For example, this ridiculous story down in North Carolina or somewhere that Common Core was "teaching Islam" - just because it's "in the news" and generating buzz does not mean it's true or accurate: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/12/20/school-islamic-vocabulary-lesson-part-common-core-standards/ Particularly if the source is FOX News...[/quote]
