[/quote] Parents are supposed to help in K, from what I understand. At least help the kid read and understand the instructions, and be available if the kid has questions. Homework in the very early grades also helps keep parents informed about how their kid is doing with understanding class material, so I think it's good that parents are involved. [/quote]
