The New Testament tells us the Jesus died during passover week, firmly putting his death in the spring.  For those who say there is no proof that anything in the Bible is true, it doesn't really matter.  Spring is the time of new life and since Christ died so that we may live, it is fitting that his death be in spring.[/quote]
